Nadia graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Laws  in 2010 and a Bachelor of Arts (Criminal Justice Administration) with distinction from RMIT University in 2004.  

 

Nadia has over 15 years of experience working within the Criminal Justice area. Prior to becoming a lawyer, she spent 5 years working within Corrections Victoria, Youth Justice, and also 1 year working in Probation and Parole in the United Kingdom.

 

Nadia was admitted to practice as an Australian Lawyer in the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2011 and has practiced exclusively in criminal defence law ever since.

 

Nadia is a passionate defence advocate, who always strives to achieve the best results for her clients. Nadia appears regularly in all matters throughout the Magistrates’ Courts in Victoria. She appears on pleas, appeals and breach proceedings in the County Court and has instructed in many complex criminal trials in both the County and Supreme Courts of Victoria.

 

Prior to co-founding Giorgianni & Liang Lawyers, Nadia worked for Melasecca Kelly & Zayler Barristers & Solicitors managing the practice’s busy legal aid section for several years.

 

Nadia is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria – General Committee, Criminal Law Section.
